Get Involved

The EC 101: Back to the Basics Toolkit is designed to be an organizing tool for advocacy, health care and other community-based organizations. The goal is to increase knowledge of and access to emergency contraception in your community, and ultimately nationwide.

With the EC 101: Back to the Basics Toolkit you will be able to train your volunteers and activists on the basics – how EC works, where to get it and how to dispel medical myths - so that they become an EC resource in your community.

Our tips for engaging volunteers and activists include a variety of flexible activities: you may decide to have them participate in a united event with other volunteers and activists from your organization or encourage them to choose from a list of suggested activities to pursue on their own.

We hope that you will find the EC 101: Back to the Basics Toolkit useful in your efforts to improve awareness of and access to emergency contraception throughout the year.
